3D Pumpkin Carving

3D pumpkins are carved just like you might carve a face in wood or marble but in pumpkin.
We treat each pumpkin like a work of art, not just a simple pumpkin carving.
Michelangelo looked at a slab of marble and saw David, well here we look at a Pumpkin and see the gift of life,
We give these pumpkins each their own personalities to charm or terrify you.

Sweet Potato Specimens

nature, texture, iceland, moody, photography, otherworldly iceland, underground, underworld, otherwordly, woodland,
We were not satisfied with only tormenting pumpkins - oh no!
We looked for other victims for carved awesomeness and stumbled upon the humble sweet potato.
After bringing these creations to life like doctor Frankenstein, we preserve these specimens in our glass receptacles so we might further uncover their secrets.

Courses

We teach how to bring pumpkins to life and how to give them any personality you can imagine.
Using our unique approach and tools you can create your own personal pet pumpkin.
A pumpkin carving can be anything from an animal, a smiling face to a ghoulish ghoul.

  • ‘We worked with Grass Car Studios as part of our programme of events in the October half-term linked to the tradition of Halloween. The pumpkin carving workshops were a big hit with our visitors and the standard of carving was incredibly high. The carving also served as a fun way to engage younger visitors with the history of the site and trigger their own creativity and imagination. All in all a really worthwhile, fun and authentic activity that everyone in the family can participate in.’
